Lauren-Claire Poitevent
A Fort Worth native, Lauren Claire Poitevent has been dancing since the age of 2 and acting since the age of 4. In 5th grade, at age 11, she worked as an extra on Robert Rodriquez’s Spy Kids 2, and that same year was cast in her first lead role as Claire in Santa Claus Is Coming To Town. Since then, she has performed in numerous shows at Casa Manana, Bass Hall, Aledo Musicals, Artisan Center Theatre and Arlington Heights High School.
Lauren-Claire attends a fine arts school, Arlington Heights High School. There she is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, Performing Heights Theatre, Performing Heights Dance and UIL Theatre. She is a Radio Shack Scholar and a Heights Scholar. She has won honors at Stairway to the Stars and Fort Worth’s First Teen Idol Vocal Competition.
In addition to her school classes, she takes private voice and acting lessons as well as guitar (acoustic and electric) and piano lessons. Lauren is also athletic; she rides horses, plays soccer, swims, skis and roller skates. She has worked on film and television projects and numerous student films.

SEE LAUREN-CLAIRE PERFORM LIVE THIS SUMMER
Lauren-Claire will be playing "Gabriella" in the pilot stage production of High School Musical 2 at Arlington Heights High School. The show runs June 24-28 at 7:00 PM and 2:00 and 7:00 on the 28th. Box office opens June 13. Call for tickets: 817-377-7223
Her band will also be performing at the Aardvark 2905 West Berry Fort Worth at 9:00 PM July 2 and at 10:00 PM July 5 at The Door 2521 Rodeo Plaza Fort Worth.
Lauren-Claire is finishing her junior year in high school and is completing a demo CD of pop and broadway songs. She just wrapped up playing the lead, Gabriella, in the play High School Musical and has been featured on the Disney Channel.
