Lauren-Claire will be playing "Gabriella" in the pilot stage production of High School Musical 2 at Arlington Heights High School. The show runs June 24-28 at 7:00 PM and 2:00 and 7:00 on the 28th. Box office opens June 13. Call for tickets: 817-377-7223

If she wins she will recieve 20 hours of studio recording time at one of Viscount Productions' Los Angeles recording studios, as well as a photo shoot with a professional LA photographer. The contest runs through May 2008 and may have several heats, so vote now!

on the Disney Channel.

Disney's High School Musical Site just Launched and the first of twelve 2-minute previews for the documentary start Sunday, September 30 at 6:30pm on the Disney Channel. More air dates to come.

Lauren-Claire has just completed a run of High School Musical in which she played the lead "Gabriella". Two time academy award winner, Barbara Kopple, followed the kids for the month on auditions, rehearsals and shows and is creating a documentary for the Disney Channel. Here Lauren-Claire is on the Disney Channel.
Lauren-Claire has been asked to travel to Los Angeles to do press for the documentary. While there she will also be photographed for Pop Star magazine.

In Fall 2007, Disney Channel will present a special telecast entitled "High School Musical: The Music in You," a documusical from two-time Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Barbara Kopple ("Harlan County, USA," "American Dream"). Kopple followed the month-long process of Fort Worth, Texas students producing a stage adaptation of Disney's "High School Musical," capturing with her camera the auditions, rehearsals and performances and how students balanced it with the rest of their lives.

Want to catch teens being filmed for their Disney Channel debut in the fall?
They're performing Disney's High School Musical on Wednesday through Saturday at Western Hills High School in Fort Worth. The otherwise ordinary kids in Fort Worth's joint summer theater program of Arlington Heights and Western Hills high schools are the subjects of a documentary about two rival high schools coming together to put on the hit Disney stage production.
